Thanks, Furyus63, but the fact that the original seatbelts came with the car means there should be (threaded) holes. Maybe I should've rephrased the question: where are the holes for the seatbelts located. The brackets look good by the way!
Well, I'll use the pictures 65nutcase posted to try...
Hey guys,
The original seatbelts came with my car (1965 Dodge Coronet 2dr sedan) but wheren't installed. As I feel safer in the car with seatbelts, I want to install them. I know that there's supposed to be a hole in the threshold (is this the correct word? sorry 'bout my English). But, is...
Second interior picture is a Charger... :-)
I like the car. Nice enginebay indeed and I've never seen one in person too. Well, i'm from The Netherlands, Europe...These cars are rare anyway.
Also, you might find some interesting images at Moshers': www.moparsbymosher.com.
64 is a "strange" year as in this very year, the (street-)hemi was introduced. If done correctly, the scoop matches the engine that lays underneath. In the previous post, the car is equiped with a MaxWedge scoop...
Back in the days, if the car didn't have a scoop but you wanted one...it was delivered in the trunk...
Note: you can recognise the hemi's in the 64 cars by the scoop...it's flat. But I think that's redundant in this thread I believe...hahaha!
