I am in process of rebuilding hinges on a 69. I noticed the top hinge has a bushing but the lowers dont. Is it better to drill/ add the bushing or what is general concensus?
I have a few quarter extensions for a 69 Coronet that have broken studs. Is it commonplace to cut the old ones flush and drill out for another stud? I dont see that anyone reproduces these yet.
I know what you're saying, I have restored several cars and am also "stuck" with a rare one (1 of 14) - not a mopar though. Lots of money and extra attentions to it. Since I am newer to Mopar builds, I guess what I was stuck on with these 69 Coronets is that they all seem to be very valuable...
I was able to inspect this 69 more and found it to be numbers matching so that makes me pretty happy. I was able to see pictures of it from back in the day too. It comes home this week. Thank you everyone who offered help on the VIN locations, etc for these cars.
I was wondering - is it...

Appreciate the humor guys - keeps me humble I'll try to ask this another way......
If a person was to spend 3 grand on a 68-70 RT, I imagine there wouldnt be much left of it but if a person were to spend $5-7K on one, would you still expect it to be quite the rusted out hulk or can these be...
I stumbled onto a 69 RT with automatic recently that is allegedly a numbers matching car. I will call it a project because it needs to be painted and assembled and I assume not all numbers will match on the drivetrain. The underside of the body is done and painted. All body work was...
I would hate to replace the whole sender with all the bad comments about accuracy of the aftermarkets. From pictures I have seen, it looks like the floats are the brass barrel types that are simple to remove/ replace. I just replaced one that looks very similar on a 79 Bronco.
The wagon is...
