I am doing a full restoration and keep trying to attack the project as a whole instead of being methodical. Let's just say I'm getting nowhere fast.
Looking to you guys for the best advice on where I should start, i.e. Engine/transmission, suspension or body work? I'm new to this so any...
How well does this fit? I've thought about doing this with my current project. But, I'm not completely sure as to the fitment and not finding much info on it aside from a ton of custom work.
Anyone from the Spokane/Eastern WA area?
Would love to just get some guys together and learn from someone verbally as to their experiences and hell, even ask for someone's help to go through the RR with me. Six pack in it for ya. I'll even have a buddy make up a sign for you (see below). It...
Has any one used this setup? If so, pros or cons? Also, is there an alternative?
I really just want a setup that is good to drive around town and mainly for cruising. I, of course, want to be able to put my foot into it now and then.

I have decided that I'm going to do the swap with a 5.7l into the 69 RR that I have, replacing a 383/727.
I have planned on trying to get as much as possible, with your suggestions, from the original engine i.e. wiring harness, computer, etc.
But, when reading through another thread, the...
I posted something similar on a different forum. But, after reading through a lot of this site and seeing some of the knowledge you guys have with the 5.7l swap into B-bodies and this is what I'm looking to do.
I currently have a 1969 RR/383 auto. Looking forward to doing a complete...
The broadcast sheet is in pretty bad shape. But I'm keeping it anyway. You can make out about 97% of the codes on it.
I am definitely keeping the Q5 color on it. I have yet to see this color in person. I plan on doing a full restoration to it. It's going to take me a while. But, I'm committed...
Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I actually have your restoration post bookmarked. Gave/gives me inspiration to know what it can and will look similar to one day.
And it is the Q5 color code. I'll look for the broadcast sheet tonight to see what I find.
The car is kind of a teal/green. I guess it's a little difficult to tell by the pictures. But, I don't want to make it a solid green. Gotta find the best color for what I'm wanting. But, I have a feeling I'll come across it and decide.
I plan on painting as much as possible. I like it when...
This is all new to me. I have never worked on a car in the past, let alone taken on a restoration of this magnitude. But, there's no time like the present and it's time to get started and learn.
I've dubbed my car HULK. I'm a MARVEL fan and this is my favorite character. Plus, the car is green...
Yeah, I have some pictures. But, they're embarrassing to say the least. It was my fathers car and we had to put in outside storage. I didn't know what I had as he passed away when I was 15 and not a lot of knowledge was passed onto me. But, I do now. I'm moving it in a few weeks. I'm building a...
Thanks guys. I will get a hold of him and see what he can do. Also, this is actually from two different images and he added the 1969 part at my request. So he could probably do something that has a 'Superbird' or whatever year you have.
This is a great site. Can't wait to get started on the...
It seems as it were that so many my age don't appreciate this sign as much as I do. Might be because I own a '69 Roadrunner.
My buddy made it for me over the weekend on his homemade CNC machine. It's approx two feet in diameter.
I'm about to get going on my restoration by the end of the summer (building a house/garage for the car).
Thought it was ironic that we both have love for the same car, starting at the same time and have the same name.
Can't wait to get started!
