1966 Charger Hemi No Sale Again at Mecum

Owner has wasted $1000's in transport and registration fees. I would think there has been enough eyes on this car in person that this is a fair price given its condition.

Does anyone know what size wheels/tires on this '67 GTX?

US Wheel (and many others) make a "smoothie" type wheel that comes in 14-22" sizes. They are meant to replicate the steelie dog dish but larger to clear bigger brakes, and if you like that look. https://www.uswheel.com/wheel/12211/us-wheel-smoothie-series-510-extended-sizing/?finishID=9 They...

Torsion Bar Adjustment Bolts Question (69 Charger)

Yes, you can get a pair of LCA bushings from anywhere including your local auto parts store. This happened to my Charger last year and had to replace them, PITA job. I would recommend poly bushings as they last longer.

Anyone have a photo of a Charger with the 17x8 or 17x9 aluminum Magnum 500's on it?

IMO they don't look good in pictures and look even worse in person. Unless you are going for a modern resto-mod build (even then...), I would suggest sticking with 15" wheels.

    318 to 383 worth it?

What is your ultimate goal for the car? Street only, long cruises, some strip action? And how much do you want to drop on just the engine? Deep pockets can make any engine fast.

    B Body exhaust kits

Think twice before switching to headers. Not much hp gain, especially on a 318 and they get in the way of plugs, starter, etc.

    Manual brakes vs hydroboost

When I did the 392 Hemi swap in my ‘70 Cuda I went with hydroboost and Wilwood 6 pistons all around. By far the best braking system I’ve had on a classic Mopar. I just tweaked the front/rear prop valve and it was perfect.

    Changing a 727 to a 833 or a Tremec?

If you are looking for a 4 speed and all the parts for a swap, I would just call Brewers and they can provide everything you need. Otherwise you will go hunting for a year to find everything and only save a little money. For the 4 speed swap steps, this post on Dodge Charger is one of the best...

    Burnout in D, 1 or 2

I was having a discussion with a couple friends on when doing a burnout with an automatic car is it best to do it in D, 1 or 2? This is for an auto shift transmission, not a manual valve body. I've seen on here opinions all over the place. Today I watched this video from John Cope, whom I...
