I will tell them I know the owner of them well haha. We have just bought a power adder FiTech unit for my work truck so I am hoping they work as good as everyone says
Haha, unfortunately we have an abundance of those here too, mainly driven by tourists and little old ladies at around 20 miles an hour under the speed limit. I will pass thanks, looking for something with a bit more muscle and a lot less fuel economy
Thanks, yeah we had planned to do both of those. I think the plan is to do the tour down inside Hoover Dam and I would like to do one of the helicopter trips into the canyon. It may end up a bus trip if one of the casinos takes more of my money than its supposed to though
Thanks, I will put that one on the list. Any advice on things I need to do or see while there is greatly appreciated , its often the things the locals know of and the tourist brochures don't have, that are the best things to experience
Yeah, I can't wait to be honest. Its pretty much ticking off a bucket list event for me. We are normally looking for good driver quality rust free classics, like everyone else I guess. That area of the US is perfect for dry rust free cars. I'm only going to part with some money if I find...
Hi guys, well a friend of mine who also is my employer and myself are heading to the US to take in the sights at SEMA, Vegas , Vegas drags , Nascar in Pheonix and generally have a good time while staying in Lake Havasu. If we find time we might even make a roadtrip to Dallas. We are going to be...
Hi, yep I will take them. I will get you an address in Lake Havasu to send them to. I am coming to Vegas in October for Sema , so I can bring them back to New Zealand on the plane. I have a excellent set of Dodge ones that I bought mistakenly .
Thanks Paul
We use liberal amounts of WD40 or similar product when machining ,drilling or cutting threads in aluminum . The other great product I found for using a cutoff disc on aluminum, was bee's wax. Just run the edge of the disc on it and it cuts like butter.
Haha, nice one, lucky that only the fuse went up at the end. When I used to shoot with the black powder club we used to have cannon shoots, it was mighty impressive when you hit a 18" steel disc at 100mtrs with an 1.5" round lead ball. It folded up real nice haha.
Wow, you would almost be a frequent flyer in the operating theatre haha, surgery is never fun, but I have to say my shoulder feels so much better since the operation. I hope you recover fast !
Thank you so much for the gift, it is an amazing surprise and I am truly humbled by your generosity...
Thank you , I am kind of in a waiting game at the moment with the build. It is almost ready for tear down and paint but several things are slowing the process down. The 1st is the piggybank is a little empty at the moment, the 2nd is work has been so busy I haven't had the spare time to get...
Had a huge smile on my dial reading your post Roger, and watching the video. Glad it was only first aid required, I have seen much worse injuries from the luge . Looked to be a fair amount of aggressive blocking by all parties on that run haha. It was lucky the weather held out for you on...
You can buy spot weld drill bits, but I just ground a 5/16 ( 8mm ) drill bit down to a really shallow angle ( tapered end shallow so it doesn't cut too deep ). I drilled partially into the centre of the spot weld with a small drill bit ( 1/8 ) to give a pilot for the shallow drill bit. Once I...
