I had a thread on this a month or two ago. The orange wire that goes into the back of the fuse box had rubbed against another terminal until it was bare, witch fed it power whenever the battery was hooked up. I would check there first .

I found the problem! The orange wire going into the back of the fuse box had rubbed against another hot terminal. It was hard to see until I unhooked it from it's terminal. It had bared the wire and was being fed voltage where it was touching the other terminal. I hope this helps someone else...

I have been disconnecting the battery. I would like to solve the problem so I don't have to!

The dash lights on my 70 satellite will not go out . I pulled the fuse, removed the headlight switch and the rotary dash light dimmer switch. They are still on! Any suggestions?
