So my 70 Charger 440 won't start, again. Doesn't seem to get any spark until I turn the ignition key backwards and then a brief fire. This has always been the tell-tale sign of a ballast resistor for me. But I just dropped in a new one and nothing. Same issue.
Where else should I look?
Thanks.
70 Charger Wheel & Tire setup:
front: 18 x 8, +2 offset, 5 x 114.3, 72.56mm hub
245/40/18
rear: 18 x 9.5. -4 offset, 5 x 114.3, 72.56mm hub
295/35/18
based on what I've read here seems like they will. Any concerns?
Very same question here. Looking to replace the stock 15s on my 70 Charger. Looking at this exact set up: 1968 Dodge Charger
Think there will be any clearance issues? Wheels appear to be 0mm offset/4.5 backspace front; 0mm offset/5.5 backspace rear.
70 Charger 440 that used to be a 225. No telling what wiring harness got used in the swap.
But the latest is when the headlights come one, it sputters and wants to cut off.
Short of replacing the entire harness... any thoughts?
Looking for an upgraded intake manifold for my 70 Charger 440. Currently has a Dual Port Offenhauser. I put in a 750 Holley and had to use a 1" spacer plate for the throttle linkage to clear the base. There is very little clearance under the hood.
Looking at an Edelbrock Performer or Performer...
