I have a set of heads in the machine shop and they are telling me they can't install hardened seats with a 2.14 valve. The largest he is willing to go is a 2.08 is this guy right or do I need to take them to a different shop? Thanks Walt

I have a set of 915 heads have them at the machine shop now the guy is telling me that the largest he can go with installing hardened seats is a 2.08 if he goes to 2.14 he won't be able to install a hardened seat. Does anyone know if this is true. Sorry if I hijacked your thread

Hello all are the b body bucket frames the same as a body? I have a body seats in my b body car and was wondering if I just need to change the foam and cover. Or do I need to find a set of b body seats. Thanks Walt

Thanks for the replies seems as if the two top bolts on both sides sheared off seems odd to me but I will remove them and replace them with some grade 8 bolts. Thanks again for the replies
