What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Both Hemi cars are drivers, the Charger was driven last week. The 68 RR a couple of weeks before. He is fully aware of what they are and how valuable they are. He's not into show poodles, and the Charger was at Carlisle the last 5 years or so. Very nice guy, and not overly concerned with what...

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I went for a ride with a friend of mine who was searching for military Power Wagon parts. I was not expecting to find these. I made a promise to the owner not to disclose VIN# s or location other than it was within an hour of NE PA. Both are real and #s matching, and 4spds. THEY ARE NOT FOR...

For all those that hunt…6.5 CM

I haven't whitetail hunted in a few years, but it depended on the stand/type you were hunting that day. Close/brush/walking was a Winchester 30-30 -170g. Open fields up to 200 yards, Remington 760 - 308 180g, sometimes 150g. Long range, Remington 700 mountain 280- 140g or 308 125g custom loads.

C H E A P People that you know...what are your stories of that person you knew that went overboard with their habits?

I sometimes fit the definition of cheap. I fix my own appliances- just finished replacing bearings, and belt on my GE dryer. For $45 it was worth repairing instead of replacing it for $500+. I routinely change my own oil in my vehicles. I take the "empty" jugs of new oil, tip them upside down...

    Anyone know this car?

All good comments, please keep them coming! I've spoken with the "owner" of the dealership. I've requested high resolution photos of the underside, fender tag, trunk, and VIN plates. I've also requested photos of the "complete restoration. So far, nothing. I do agree the column auto is a bummer...

    Your phone is listening . . .

I routinely shut the microphone off on my phone - Samsung S22, however the Mrs. S23 must not. We were discussing getting her a new laptop, specifically an Hp. Neither of us researched them on our phones, but lo and behold 30 minutes later she was seeing all kinds of ads for Hp laptops showing up...

Thanks!! I've never used the nylon type, but have been tempted to try. It took me about 6 hours to find my reamer set. It's one of those tools that doesn't get used much anymore.
