I found this Dorman 42337
I fits loose in the hole
However
Inserting the pegan sized pvc valve into the hole expanded it and now fits perfectly
Could not find the mopar ones on e bay nor locally thru my dealer, nor Napa Carquest ect
So

Hello
I have the Mopar Performance Black Aluminum valve covers on my 440 and the pvc valve grommet has, after 20 years, crapped apart.
It is is a 1" OD hole in the cover and the pvc valve is .73".
The big thing is the valve cover top is THICK, so it needs to be rather tall, taller than what the...
Hello
So for minor floor pan rust, is there any real rust incapsulating paint or is it all just snake oil ?
Been sand blasting anything that I can get too, but there are those spots that it would be awesome to have a magic spray on “ bullet”
Thanks
As of now
I took the original console and overplayed a piece of kydex formed with a heat gun.
Better than a hole but not perfect.
If/when I get a new console it will be reinforced,
Possibly a couple of 2x4s glued together than sanded down to correct length/contour and glued to base.
Or
Some sort...
Hello
Anyone have any reports on the aftermarket 4spd center consoles for 69 Charger 4 spds and the quality or lack of ?
My biggest concern is the very back end that everyone puts their hands and weight on, getting in and out of the back seat, and it gets crushed/cracked like the originals.
I...
Hello
Refresh my old mind.
Did Dodge make a "RT" or were they Coronet Rt's that just had an RT badge on them and no Coronet name plates ?
I had thought they did, but it has been a while since I have looked into these.
Any history on this subject would be appreciated.
I normally am a Charger guy...
As caliper piston pushes in, the caliper itself moves toward the piston, thus sliding on the brackets, and if not on the bracket, I too see it hitting and hanging up, causing issues.
IF, it had at least an 1/8" resting on it, I would consider using it, but even then would not feel warm and fuzzy...
Yeah
+1 on Dr Diff
Wish I had dealt with them more in the past,
No issues with items I have gotten from them and all ?s replayed too.
The spindles and brackets were bought as a kit from competitor on sale.
Live and learn
Hello
I am installing 11.75 rotors on my 66 Charger using the slider type calipers.
I could not find any junk yard donors for the brackets so I bought a new manufactured set.
Installing my calipers the right side barley rested on the slide, but with future pad wear, it will get better.
The...
So my Mechanical fuel pump is leaking
This is a 110 gph street strip pump, with a slotted screw on the bottom “bowl” to adjust and point the inlet to where you want it.
I can’t remember if it is a Holley or a Carter, but it has the screws around the casting to take it apart and rebuild
Picture...
Lower control arm bushings.
The non threaded end of the shaft in picture, get pressed into these,.
It will look like a WWII German granade.
Potatoes masher.
Then it gets pressed into lower control arm.
Look at the QA1 add to the right of your post on screen.
Good luck
Can anyone give a good reason for me to keep the old drum spindles and the drums them selves, from 66 and 69 chargers ?
Swapped over to front disks with the E body spindles, and I can not think there is a need for drum spindles out there ?
Maybe keep one set of drums from future replacement of...
Hello
What are the Timken inner and outer bearing numbers for the 11.75" rotors used on the drum to disk swap ?
A17 the inner/bigger bearing ?
Then the smaller/outer bearing is A16?
Found a old receipt that had these along with brake pads sooooo ?
Thanks in advance
Hello
66 charger had power brakes, putting in manual with discs up front.
I have a 69 charger with manual brakes that I upgraded to discs with same componnets.
Please see attached picture.
I assume the linkage the pencil points too gets tossed into the spare parts bucket, then my new adjustable...
