i need ideas how to get the reverse detent check ball out of my A833 without pulling the trans if possible. It was a total bone head move on my part! I tried draining the fluid, small magnets, and blowing through the reverse detent access with compressed air. No luck! Ideas?
I have done a fair amount more searching and think I will try redline MT90 75w90 for manual transmissions. Jay Leno recommended on his website so if there is a problem I will sue him...kidding of course.
Hey guys I'm trying to find the best manual transmission fluid to run in my A833 4 speed trans. On a 71 RR, 383.
When I drained the fluid it looked like atf was being used.

Hi, I have a 71 roadrunner that I have rebuilt the suspension on but have heard that the suspension should be under load when torquing the bolt/nuts to spec? Is this correct and if so for all components or just specific ones? I'm specifically concerned with ball joints, tie rods, center link...
