Here you go....
" Street Pro 007 Series are for the famous iconic look.
These classic muscle wheels are a one-piece Flow Form construction of lightweight aluminium designed for strength and function on the street or the strip. A brushed aluminium...
Not to hijack.....but these are the China made /Australian owned Centerline replicas....Wheels
These are street legal in Australia, the DOT clowns down here are pretty **** down here about wheel integrity.
I like Original Centerlines......Auto Drags and Pro Stocks.
Why not use a bit of imagination and have a go at making your own ? Did this on the Indy X ram and my Stage V dual quad intakes.
On the Stage V intake the cable bracket mounts off the rear carb's rear carb studs; on the X ram the cable clamp mounts to the intakes top lid studs as in the pix...
Take a box of new lifters. Johnsons. Check em. I've found some that are'nt machined right to enable the lifters to spin properly. Even one machined incorrectly will trash the cam.
I wont use FT lifters without CORRECTLY refacing them ALL before fire up. Dont even bother checking them.
Do them...
Down here Dana 60s area little thin on the ground, but I was still able to build one out of a Dodge truck housing, heavy duty, thick wall tubes, and score another one for my stash.
Shortened it, welded axle tubes to center housing, added billet 35 spline floater axles, a Detroit Locker...
A little thing I've been advised about the zinc/phos in the good engine oils (like Driven, Brad Penn, Vr1 etc).....is apparently, they don't actively 'begin to bond to/protect highly loaded parts until the oil is up to operating temp.
Something to consider.
Imho, roller cams still need a...
"My block does not have bushed lifter bores, so I do want to check the oil passages and confirm the base circle requirements, as INTMD8 has brought to my attention. "
Just info for ya, mine does'nt either (MP siamesed bore, Hemi block) and it's OK with Isky Red zone EZ MAX bushed roller...
Get Comp to grind you this cam, used bushed roller lifters, run clean oil, run PAC /Comp 943s with either tool steel or Ti retainers and call it done. You can tighten up the int/exh lash a little on the street, it will be fine.
The lobe design won''t beat up the valvetrain and net lift will be...
As others have stated, lobe ramp speed is the spec to watch. Your basic combo is nice and very similar to mine. A little more gear would be nice depending on your tire OD. I would be using less cam and less spring for what you are trying to do.
I've have found that for lifter longevity on a...
If the gears were set up incorrectly when new they have broken in incorrectly now and will howl.
Even if you correct the pattern, reset the backlash etc.....they will still howl because they are already broken in incorrectly and have their wear pattern set. Quality new gears, set up correctly...
572 Hemi here. 11.2:1, 272/282 @.050, .750/.680" lift, single Dominator, 2 1/4" x 3.5" headers.
From 30-34 it did'nt make much difference, but best HP/TQ was at 33 deg....850HP/770TQ on pump gas.
In the car in summer, I run around 30 deg on premium pump gas here.
Works for me.
