Well, I spoke with Calvert today and they said caltracs and super stocks are ok together. Just band the back of the springs together also, and set the caltracs up like normal. This is right from the horse's mouth, so all is good with super stocks and caltracs says Calvert. Thanks for everyone's...
I thought I was getting the right stuff, according to Mancini it was supposed to work. They sold it to me as a package, front shocks, rear shocks, super stocks and caltracs.
Can I take some leafs out of the super stocks as a fix or bandaid? With the covid all our borders are closed, so I couldn't get splits if I wanted too. Or do I throw these caltracs away and just run the super stocks?
Shorten how much? The caltracs are for a 20" front segment, and there is .050" gap between the spring and striker bar, both sides. What gap should there be?
Same here. Bought from Mancini and was told they would work with super stocks. I'm in Canada so returning them isn't an option. That's my last purchase from Mancini, never again!!!
13.38 @102mph Track was well prepped, Street Outlaws were also there on Sunday. No spin whatsoever, 1.89 60 foot, leaving @5800rpm side stepping the clutch. Deadhooking the car but not enough power to get off the line.
