They’re towel city retread cheaters. I’ve had four pair with zero issues. The whitewall is like a bonded portawall...I got them in a trade, or I’d have blackwall ones. I do like how the look now that they’re on the car. If ya want a nonbonded whitewall you’re gonna have to buy Radir ones. The...

    64/65 Hemi bellhousing...A833 trans id

Well from everything I can find. The Bellhousing is either 65 B Body race Hemi or 68 A body lightweight race Hemi. From what I find they both used the same casting numbers. The machines clutch linkage mounting holes match the 65 pattern. The only thing I’ve found wrong is a modification that...

I recently picked up a complete A833 from bellhousing to ball and trunion flange. It even still has what I’m assuming is the original Hurst Competition Plus Shifter. I didn’t know what I had at first. I was just looking for a four speed and scattersheild for my 48 Plymouth coupe. The Craigslist...

I didn’t know what I had until I got home. I was just looking for a trans for my Plymouth. The add said aftermarket cast steel bellhousing. I was assuming an Ansen, RC, or wedge engineering not a factory one...here’s the add.

Thanks fellas... Under what section is a guy supposed to ask for identification of an A833 trans? I just picked up a transmission, competition plus shifter, bellhousing and scartersheild, and I’m wondering if they were all from the same car? The bellhousing and inspection cover to the best of...

I’m a recently converted Chevy guy and I do not have a B-body, but most of my searches lead me here, so I decided to join. I have 1948 Plymouth coupe with a wedge and an A-833 and a Dana 60. I’m trying to build it like it would have been on or before 1964. I hope to steal some knowledge so I...
