My VIN stamped on my engine pad on my 1971 440 block looks as though it was stamped a couple of times and the second time did not line up with first stamping looks blurry. I have read that some plants did stamp 2 or more times on the engine block pad. My question is why did some plants do this...

Hi thanks for replying. The special crank and pistons maybe are for 6 pack as the block that was ruined was a 440 6 pack. Thanks again. Ron

Thanks for all the replies but I HAVE the block heater installed and only looking for a drawing from factory or otherwise about how the dealer ran the wire from the passenger side of the engine to the drivers side where the 110 volt plug ends up fastened to the rad support, that's what I need...
