    73 charger with a coronet Ser#

Have them Google (with you overseeing) '1973 Charger vin'. Then do 'Coronet' too. There are numerous examples to review showing "Wx" for both. Got an attorney friend?

100+ pics, but no broadcast. Drat. Would be great to compare to try to nail down those straggler codes.

    Need help decoding a vin.

Digging a bit further into whatever documentation is on H.H., looks like the '66 Sport Fury is where the wood grain on this style console probably originated? (all images lifted from Hamtramck Historical and cropped) I don't think so,but really don't know. Maybe the 5 is the manual 6-way...

    Need help decoding a vin.

I believe that console is a few years 'too new' for that car.... (or at least the wood grain?) Does the car, by chance, have power buckets? - that might be what the b-5 is.

68-69 B Body Dash a/c center vent bezel part 2947250

I just noticed you said your Charger is a '68 - That prior parts catalog pic I posted was from the '69 catalog ...guess I only looked at the title. For what it's worth, apparently the "equivalent?" '68 part (2864291) fit all model/panel versions? You should verify further as needed. My...

68-69 B Body Dash a/c center vent bezel part 2947250

I can't say for sure from experience, but it is suspiciously missing from the "Charger" body-style (29; sports hard top) column in that B-Body row of the parts manual. I believe the Charger was automatically equipped with Rallye gauges.

    Fendertag 1966 Coronet 440...

One downside to the Polyspherical - much like its' big brother the Hemispherical - is it's relatively Heavy! A Poly is close to as much as a regular 440...like 50 or 70 pounds less, I believe?

    727 transmission filter for 70 Charger 440

I'd suggest you check your part numbers on the pan rail, and VIN on the passengers side, to verify "what" trans you have? Could have been replaced in its lifetime. My 2¢
