A little late to the party but my Noco GB40 has a manual override. If you hold down a button it will change modes and jump a battery that has less than 2V. Found this out last weekend when my mower wouldn't jump and was completely dead.
I recently learned that 5/16 was an old ratchet size before 1/4 became standard after I found this lil Snap-On in my grandfather's tool box I inherited. Was super excited but soon realized none of my sockets would fit!
It had a lot more flex to it than I thought it would. I placed a 2x4 under it where it was still flat, put a foot on it, and used my other for to gently press down on the high portion. A few few presses and test fits and it was much better.
Since I got a couple console guys one the line here...
Got the '68 Sport Satellite up and going mechanically and started on the console. Going well except the lid. From about the lock forward on the driver's side it bends up. We'll assume someone pried on it. Anyone ever "adjust" these? Appears to be cast aluminum? I'm afraid it will crack if I try...
I just went through a similar problem on the front of my '68 Satellite. Everything was great until I bolted on a wheel, then the shoes were catching when rolling wheel forward. Disassembled and reassembled a couple times, same result. I finally took a file and chamfered the leading edges of both...
I use my Craftsman slide hammer kit all the time. Mostly just the pullers and attachments. It was about $100 a couple years ago. Paid for itself many times over. And not as many busted knuckles from improvising with the wrong tool.
Edit: I'm still going to steal that idea next time I need to...
Getting the rear brakes up and going on my 1968 Sport Satellite. Manual drum brakes. No rear axle when I started. Installed the 8 3/4" axle from my '68 Satellite 4 door donor. I see now it's not the original axle since the tee is out on the tube, as I understand it. So from looking through the...
I was in a similar situation finding fittings for the water pump. Finally found what I needed at HD in the PEX fittings. They had brass pipe fittings with barbs there but not in the regular plumbing fittings section. They aren't regular tapered barbs but have some good grip if you get the proper...
This happened recently here in KC. Never use smooth rivets.

That seems to be what I do. I've also saved a 1968 M715 and last fall I pulled a 1966 D100 out of a field as my next project. Saving cool old cars is a good feeling.
Been getting lots of info here but thought I should say hi.
Finally got the 1968 Plymouth Satellite Sport fired up last weekend. Been setting in a field for about 30yrs.
Original 318 was junk. Parked with a blown head gasket and filled with water. Found the valves were rusted off and laying on...
Hey all, finally got my survivor Sat running. Now to get it rolling with some steelies and dog dishes. On the cheap hopefully. Having a tough time digging anything up. Right now all I have are 4 mismatched 14x5 junk wheels.
Looking like I will need the optional or wagon 14x5.5 wheels to fit a...
Looking for a matching set of 4 for my 1968 Plymouth Satellite Sport. Steel for a 9" dog dish. Kansas City and surrounding areas.
These would have been the optional size for a 68 car or std on wagons.
