    Console automatic shifter bracket install

It all makes more sense with the centerline. The left side of the shifter bracket mount is the center of the console. With that edge on the centerline the vertical torque rod lines up with the center dimple in the round flat on the tunnel. I think that is how it was designed

    Console automatic shifter bracket install

I am putting a console shift in the RR, getting ready to weld in this bracket, looks like it is placed so the vertical torque rod is centered up on the round flat on the tunnel? Is that what we want?

    Rocky's Red Road Runner Restoration

I found a great epoxy for repairing plastic parts, PC products PC-7. Working time is several hours, and the next day till it is sandable. It stays somewhat pliable after it cures. Rocky's Red Road Runner Restoration

The primer I used on the interior is a good oil based product thinned with VMP/naptha and applied with a long skinny brush that can put paint in areas that spraying can not do. I reached my long skinny arms in and got as much as I could inside the wheel well area too. Did the same with the...

    Rocky's Red Road Runner Restoration

The voltmeter conversion was pretty easy, I followed a write up I found on the net using a cheap Bosch gauge for a donor and attaching it to your existing faceplate. The new gauge centers up pretty good at 14.5 volts. The old ammeter feed wire was used to connect it via an inline fuse. The...

cant get a 4 speed in a tesla....

That reminds me of my mother driving, she always called the gas pedal the "footfeet". Never figured that one out back then, but recently figured out that her dad taught her to drive way back when the throttle in cars of his era was called a "foot feed"

cant get a 4 speed in a tesla....

My son in law's car died unexpectedly a couple years ago, so I gave him a loaner, which was a 5 speed stick. I was shocked and amused to discover that he did not have a clue how to drive it. He was 38 at the time. My daughter laughed at him too, I taught her to drive a stick when she was 16...

    Installing a new wiring harness

Hi Mark I just finished with the electrical system rebuild on my 69. I made my own harnesses to custom fit my application. The electrical system on these cars is fairly basic and simple, not hard to do. Get one of those big color wiring diagrams. I will be adding more info and pictures to my...
