I'm looking for suggestions based on experience for an exhaust system for my 68 Sport Satellite convertible. I'm running a 383 with HP exhaust manifolds. It doesn't have to be concours or period correct but it does need to fit. I've been looking at a Magnaflow kit which seems reasonable. I'm in the process of resto and putting it back together. I don't feel comfortable taking it to a muffler shop at this point. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Thanks! I was just looking at their site. The price is $250 less than the muffler ago quoted me a couple years ago. I have read their systems fit very well. The only thing I don't know is how loud the Dynomax Super TurboTax mufflers would be.
My friend has the TTI system with straight thru Magnaflow mufflers that sounds too quiet for my taste. He bought the system manifolds back without mufflers

I heard the longer the muffler, the more quiet it is.

The magnaflow will be considerably louder than the Super Turbo in my opinion.

I have used the TTI kits on several cars now and they all fit great. There is an option to replace the Super Turbo mufflers with Ultra Flows if you want a louder sound.

Thanks! This is just what I needed to hear about the fitment. The last thing I want is to spend a bunch of money and have to spend hours making adjustments. Thanks again!!

They're not too quiet or too loud. They're the Goldilocks mufflers that don't drone at highway speeds. The ones that are too loud are the Dynomax Ultra Flow.

It's the opposite. Ultra Flows are louder than Super Turbos. I had them both on my 440. I kept the quieter Super Turbos.

I used Flowmaster Flow FX mufflers on my TTI system, they fit with no modification bolted right in. They have a nice bark, but not obnoxiously loud.
69 Roadrunner 440 with HP manifolds.

Based on experience. I put a tti exhaust system in my 68 Sport Satellite, 440 4 speed with hp manifolds. It fit flawlessly and is pretty easy to install by yourself. I dropped a 426 hemi in the same car with a completed headers to exhaust tips tti system, same results. I put the system I took out of the 68 Sport Satellite in a 70 Charger automatic with power steering, same results. They are not cheap but I have purchased 6 systems from them and never have been disappointed

You can buy the TTI system without mufflers and use you're own.

I installed an Accurate system with their high flow hemi mufflers and kept the manifolds on my '69 Sport Satellite. I loved the sound.
