    Thanks, I'll check it out.

How to identify the right interior color on 70 Charger

I have a 70 Charger I'm restoring and I'm trying to understand the various interior colors. I believe (based on the Fender Tag below) it's a Tan interior (seats, etc), but when I look at things like armrests (which need replacing), I see several types of Tan/Brown (Saddle tan # 650, Brown #656...

    Alan's 1970 Charger Restoration

Ok, so I've spent the last couple months cleaning the garage and preparing to get the Charger. This past weekend I was finally able to get to Western NY and retrieve it. It took a bit of effort to get it on the trailer as it's not running. The front wheels/brakes were locked up so we dragged it...

Does anybody sell bolt on chassis dollies/casters.

I'd be interested in any measurements of what you built & steel thickness used as I'm thinking of building a set as well.

    Alan's 1970 Charger Restoration

I've certainly messaged AMD about producing them. I even suggested they set up a pre-order to see the actual demand as it could change when folks have to put their money where their mouths are :). Has anyone tried the fiberglass ones from aarqualityfiberglass? I'm still planning on having a...

    Alan's 1970 Charger Restoration

So you're saying they'd need to charge 3-4x?

    Alan's 1970 Charger Restoration

Exactly, if 2 years (68 & 69) make it worthwhile for them to reproduce, wouldn't it make sense to do it at 1.5x-2x the price of the 68/69 fenders? How many people would be in at that price - 700-1000 per fender?

    Alan's 1970 Charger Restoration

@davek I'm learning that '70 Charger front fenders are hard to come by. For a newbie, I'm trying to understand if the 68/69 fenders simply do not fit or it's a purist thing :) (some unique look).

Moving with a rusted front frame

RT6PK, thanks for the advice. Does it change at all if I tell you I'm planning to take the shell (whatever remains) to a reputable chassis/body shop so the "foundation" ends up correct (I'd still hate to make it worse than it is)? We're still considering all options including removing the...

Moving with a rusted front frame

The other side has a metal plate my brother welded in to support it years ago. So it was patched, but no telling how well. The engine is still in and we've considered removing.i was hoping to wait until I'm here to remove it so nothing gets lost and I can tag & bag everything.

Moving with a rusted front frame

Thinking about that if we can find good metal to weld to.

Moving with a rusted front frame

That's quite an adventure and not a fun one. Luckily it's in my dad's garage (spending a couple nights) and there are many places within an hour or two to rent one. Crossing fingers they didn't screw me.over but if they do, we'll adapt and overcome like you did!

    Alan's 1970 Charger Restoration

Thanks. The front fenders aren't in great shape - they have some filler from backing the early 80s. I'm planning on stripping it down to a roller and taking it to a shop to have the chassis/body/paint done as I want the foundation to be good. I'm in Spartanburg SC so if you know of any reputable...
