I have the pypes turbo pro muffs along with their whole kit on my vette. I’m happy with the sound but for the little I drive that car the muffs already looks pretty cruddy.

Well with little time left I would say go with the suggestion to let the rpm down a little more gradually if you are just taking your foot off the gas and letting it snap shut. Basically learn to drive around the problem instead of making last minute changes if possible.
