I am wondering if anyone can tell me what the first and second numbers mean on the body and rad support stamping. I know the build date and order number is the last 5 digits but what does the 72 mean at the start. Was thinking maybe 7 is the year as it is a 67 but not sure on the 2.

I've done this with a couple of rads and I am running Hemis. What I did I took the small block rad to a rad shop and it was a 2 core, And the top and bottom tank has provisions to make it a 3 Core. So that is what I did and I have no issues with heat
