Hi pnora. I’m pretty sure I located one square flasher with square holder just to the left of the ash tray holder. Can you see it in my picture? I’ve yet to look in the two locations you mentioned to the left and right of the steering column. Was this standard location for all 1969 B Body’s? Thanks
Yes. I believe it’s the turn signal by the ash tray. I’ll try and see if there is one to the left of the steering column as mentioned above. I’ve never seen a square flasher before.

Thanks for all your help. I was able to un-thread the button and knob and spring. I ran a tap through the hole. The correct thread is a 10-24 as mentioned above. I just wanted to share my findings so someone later can search and learn. Cheers
I’m looking for the size and thread of the locking set screw for my shifter. I purchased the car and it was missing. The knob presently wants to slide up without the set screw.
Is the shifter knob with set screw to be locked in the 6:00 position? Or facing the back of the car?
