There is a reason I learned to do my body/paint and NOT be critical of my work!!!
There are reasons I only guy woreout engines and run them in my builds!!
All the Iron Resto shows I see on DISH are reruns and 5=6=7 years old. So yea, Tx. had projects in those $ range back then!!
A friend has a pretty nice 50s hot rod pickup and was talking to Joe one day. He told me Joe offered to air brush their log on his pickup for $1000. Said it would...
Like said, Warner Bros. buys MotorTrend and has shut it down, except for a few shows, that still had contracts pending, so all the smart guys in class tell us! There was a big discussion over on FABO about it all.
Only part about Kendigs flick was watching their metal fabs sometimes...
I have had a few F bodies, sold the last one maybe 4-5 years ago. The F body guys are a great group, they love their cars. Like anything, the really desirable models in good condition are hard to find and hard to get ahold of. I don't see them as good candidates to spend $ on.

The classic car market is always finicky!!!
Whats hot this year may not be the hot ticket next year.
I have never seen an old Mopar that I did not want. its a disease!
Buy classics cars that you love and will enjoy.
Wanna turn a profit, invest in Wall Street!
Can you do the work and do work that will make the car bring the $$$ when done? Do you have the time, not measured in years?
I am no help, I love the RR but after a decent project got up to $4-5000, I gave them up!!!
I do thank God Almighty every night for all that I do have to be thankful for. And the thanks I give has nothing to do with a $ or a home or an old car or a piece of dirt.
Prayers foir you my friend.
Close to 50 years in the Mopar hobby, and 76 with health issues that have me barely able to walk, get up and down, etc. But the doc says try to stay "active"! OK.
I will say this. Find in life what makes you happy, makes you look forward to another day, and live...
Not bragging but I had them all back in the 80's, 90's, when I could easily find them at decent to good prices, except the Superbird I did not want. Now days, I have no desire for my favorites, the 69 RoadRunner.... Rusted out junk RR projects, stupid prices and who wants one half way or all...
Remember, these old Mopars were not usually 100% perfect even when new!!
Over the decades I found and had so many 68-70 b body plymouths, but found only 1 70 Bee!
They are the coolest looking car at night with street lights shining upon them!
You are a lucky guy!
I love the 383 and especially the 68-9 B bodies until they got priced out of what and most all rusted to dirt. But like said, that 340 stroked is an amazing engine.
Yes for sure. Barry knows his "stuff" and is an expert body/paint man. Like someone else said, their tech sheets are so complete, maybe to the extreme IF that is possible. Probably not possible. So many newbies ask " what are these tech sheets anyway!"
