i remember the guy who built it asking something about stock bearings or green bearings but throughout the project i honestly forgot what we decided.

turns out im just a slime ball when i do trannies without a lift so i had crap all over the headers from sliding in and out from under the car.

i unbolted my 727 from my freshly rebuilt 440. i did this to hcange converters cause i didnt like the one i had. so its the second time putting it back together.

i saw that the flange of the tail light housing hangs over the pin. i just saw that it said no transmission removal require but tailhousing removal is required i guess.
oh well, ill decide if i feel like doing it.
i have all the drilling and reworking of the valve body done and just need to replace the spring that is circled in red. i see that there is a shaft that holds the "clamp" for the band and it looks like that should come out but i cant get it. the instructions in my transgo tf-2 kit dont show any...
Im getting a derale cooler to mount on the rad and would like to install a tranny temp gauge too. Which tranny line is hot(pressure side) and which is the return?

i ordered the overflow and also i saw some small droplets around the fitting on top of my water pump housing that the heater core hoses fit on. i am going to take em out when i put in my new thermostat and thread tape them. or anerobis sealer.
this seems to be the only issue left before i go...

I have a 440 that I rebuilt and have a champion 26 inch rad.
Car has no hood for now....
Anyways when I step on it( not even real heavily) I get coolant misting my windshield. If I floor it it gets wetter... Like small droplets.
The mech fan is probably blowing it back but not sure why...
Well when I changed from mp pump and factory housing to a milodon pump and 440 source housing all problems are solved. I now have the correct sensor and it runs 160 all day long. The 440source housing looks good to me and apparently works haha.
ok so now heres where its at...
i have a 440 source water pump housing with a milodon pump that has way bigger blades than the MP pump. it now has the correct lower hose locations.
