I had S/M do mine from my 65 Coronet and they were great to deal with. I followed their recommendations on speakers and the sound was good.

I drive truck for a living and the combination of fluids (grease oil gas) and dirt will build up over time on the steering wheel and smells horrible. If your steering wheel is solid you can clean it but if it's porous and more soft I am not sure what to do. :icon_scratch:

According to Year One there is no way of determining what color of material was used in a specific car. Chrysler would simply put into the car whatever color trunk mat was available in the assembly plant when a particular car came down the line. So I guess unless you can find the original...

I am 6' 5" and have had to move the seat back in a couple of my cars, if you take your time and look it over you should be able to figure out a way to move yours safely. Good luck

2 5/8" gauges is what I have (I think those in the picture are also 2 5/8" but I'm not sure as it's just a picture I found when I was decicing on what I wanted). I ordered my gauge panel from hemieddy on ebay.

This is close to what I am installing but mine has the metal wrapped around so you don't see the gauges from the side. I know a lot of guys don't like the under dash look.:nono:

kellycom, thanks for the added info on the Bluetooth option as I was considering sending my radio back and adding it. After reading your post I will save my time and money.

Had a conversion done on my 65 Coronet by S/M Electro-Tech Inc. out of Blaine Minnesota and it turned out great. I believe all the parts are about the same from the different installers and now you can have Bluetooth added also which is great. I believe most installers can also repair about...

I guess it's not that bad and I do have the garage heated and keep it aired out to avoid moisture plus the windows are cracked and baking soda in open containers placed in the car. I guess maybe a good cleaning when I have it all out will help.

Next fall I will be removing all of my interior (except the headliner) to have frame connectors, torque boxes and mini tubs welded in. My question is....the car currently has a slight case of that old car musty smell but my interior including the carpet is in really good condition. I would like...
