Sounds like a beast you're building. It'll be a torque monster. I have a 440 build (not stroked) that was dyno'd at near 500hp and more torque and I bought 1 7/8 tti's. I think either MotorTrend or Nicks Garage on YouTube did a comparison on HP and torque on the 2 sizes.

For a temp fix, research the JB weld stuff and also research YouTube for simular quick fixes. It won't be pretty but will be temporary and will allow you to drive on the narrow streets of Holland for a few months.

I remember when I use to 1/4 mile everyone ran with open headers. The theory was less backpressure, more power. Based on that wouldn't larger exhaust be better all around? I see hot rods, street rods, ect with big side pipes all the time.
I've been looking at a set of Doug's Headers Electric Cutouts. The design seems to eliminate any future issues with a leaky exhaust coming from the cutouts. After reading the reviews and complaints about the plastic gears I am now looking at QTP.
