What I need is a side picture of shifter mounting spot, I have a 69 trans with 2 different tail housings I want to use in a 65 Belvedere. Looking for the 11” bell also but I’ll put that listing in the wanted section
Thanks
Inland shifter knob, someone said it screwed off. I’ve tried but can’t get it to turn, even tried a pipe wrench. Think they glued it? I don’t want to tear it up since it’s original, any ideas?
Picked up my driveshaft today, my buddy found it at the Indy show. Hadn’t realized how rare it was till I looked at it. 1330 joint on each end. How many slip yokes have you seen with that joint? Not sure about 68 and up but 66-67 for sure with Dana-4 speed-Hemi. I feel lucky to find one now. No...
went to slide the 3-4 syncs hub on and its to long, not enough room for the snap ring. 18 spline trans-70. The smaller hub fits but the big lug type doesn’t?? Main shaft different?
My knee is getting real bad so I’m seriously thinking of switching over to an automatic in my 66 Belvedere. (I’ll store all of the 4speed parts for future owners) Since the radiator has no cooler lines will an add-on cooler be enough for the street? It’s all I ever used on the race cars but that...
I need the height from bottom of carbs to the block id pad. I've seen these intakes on a 66-67 Belvedere and wondered how much hood clearance was there. Or did it need the RO scoop?
Thanks
anyone have a picture of how the long line is run on a 66 dana. Got the short one. They had a mangled mess on mine when I got it. There’s one line clip on the cover, was there any other than the two on the tubes? (Under a cover boot?)
Thanks
looking for a pic of the bracket that the 4 speed inland shifter bolts to on a 1966 b-body. If I can’t find one I’ll have to make it. Also I can’t find where the back up switch wires originate from on firewall (engine-trans where stolen and all other wires where cut)
Thanks, Mike
