I've been considering finding some stock 06 and newer charger rims for my 72. Has anybody tried this? And what size will avoid tubbing?

Why would you want to ruin a 72' with modern OEM wheels?

I have a set of the '10 challenger rims on my '72, they don't look bad, had to drop the front end as well as the rear to account for the larger rim/tire size though.

Love the Look! Makes the car look modern. Does the Wheels fit the stock bolt pattern of the Road Runner? I have a 1971 Dodge Charger that I am in the process of making a R/T clone.

I did have to put spacers on the front to get the new rims to fit, otherwise you have to do a lot of shaving to make it work

Man Ron somebody copied you, i know a guy down here in fla with it's twin.

Thats unreal cool, whats the odds in that!!

isn't the bolt pattern off just a tad? I was looking at thos for my '69 Charger and found the metric conversion for 5x4.5 is 5x114.3 and the new wheels are 5x115?

I think that you can pick up new rims off of new iron relatively cheaper than buying ,BOSS ,FOOSE ,ETC .these rims are so flipping expensive and tires to boot .HATS OF TO YOU AND YOUR SWEET LOOKING RIDE .....IT LOOKS FABULOUS .........
