Playing with my "Mini Tubed" 65 plymouth satellite last weekend, to my suprise ! i was able to Tuck a
15x10 steel wheels with a 5 inch back space, and with a 28/11.5/15 tire under the wheel well with plenty of back space left, and about 3/4 inch @ the front outer fender !! WOW i thought this was soooo cool i just had to share this info, i know there's pepole (like my self) who are always wondering what size wheel & tire combo could be ran on these year cars, i still mite shorten the axel to put a wider tire but this is a good starting point for me, anyway hope this post is usefull to someone out there, i know i've got'en plenty of good help from this site, "so hope it helps ! !"

I have in board springs with no mini tubs on my 65 Coronet with stock width axels. I was able to fit 29x10.5W w/6.5" back spacing on 10" rims. I would think with mini tubs I could get another 2" of tread on the ground but 10.5w is the widest tire allowed in NSS racing around here anyway.

Yes you are absolutly correct ! i easly could get 2 more inches with more back space ! !

Can you give details and pics of the mini tubs? I would like to do the same to my 65 Fury and 65 Belvedere.
