Hi folks, wondering what width a tire I could run on Cop car wheels on the rear of a 1967 RT?Thanks for your help.

275 is too wide for a 7 inch rim per most tire manufacturers. That said, I've seen it done quite a lot.
Whether or not the tire shop gives you grief about it will depend on the shop you use. 255 is good.

You can put a 275 series tire on that rim.
I had them on the back on my F-Body Runner for a short time and they looked just fine.

You have a BUNCH more room on the back of an F-body than on a 66-67 B-body.
I would have no problem with a 275 on a seven either. Heck, I've got a 16"wide tire on a 12"rim. The question is if a 275 will fit on that rim on that CAR!

! run 255-60's on my 7" wide wheels. That's about the max I would run.

Tire size.com recommends 7.5-9.5 for a 275.
They recommend 7-9 for a 255.
My 255 is on an 8" rim that didn't have enough bs to put a 275 on and clear the fender. Fills the wheelhouse nicely though.
