17's on a 1970 satallite

ok so am so confused on this tire rim thing i have picked out a pair of 17x8 for the front and 17x9 for the rear. if my offset is correct(i think so) can i still do a 275-50 17 in rhe rear and a 235-50-17 in the front.

remember i am still block sanding as we speak, but had to check fitment

I like em a lot, what are they? If you were closer I'd ask if I could try them on my GTX!
