There are some over on the H.A.M.B website that doing build threads. I'm over there also since I have a 40. The owner is doing a hemi in his though but other threads with info.
At this point I have the 48 cleaned and hope to get started on fixing all the small dents. I haven't gone crazy buying tools but did pick up a kit with hammers and a couple of dollies. The dam weather hasn't budged above 29 degrees. I've been watching a lot of UTub about repairing dents and using filler.
I've made some progress, never have done bondo work I've made a small step forward. The problem I'm having is that I keep sanding past the level point then it becomes a low spot, which I have to rebondo. I have a feeling I'm being a bit too picky and the time I'm spending on the left fender is way too long. I’ve given myself about 2 years (or a little less) to finish the restoration but at this rate it could be more like 3 years.
