The '60 Matador was the CHP's first 4-door patrol car. Of course, they called it a "Police Pursuit" since there were no Matador badges.

my stepdad Bob had a 60 Dart 500-Pheonix HT 383 Sonoramic 2x4bbl
it was Mauve/pink colored, off-white/cream-ish top
grammas couch type pinkish interior

I remember the sound of that intake when he'd floor it to pass people

the damn color was fugly as hell, hard to like it

I had a friend who had a '60 Phoneix 2 door hardtop, white with a red Int. I remember that
"square" steering wheel, the front seats would swivel and It did move pretty good when he punched it!

my senior year(1969-70) My car was a blue 1960 dart station wagon, 318 engine manual steering and brakes. I was the go to driver on saturday night, going to the drive-in. I could get 8-10 of us in that car, and we ran amuck all night.
