62 Console wanted...Plym or Dodge...the whole thing or parts ie: lid and to the rear of the lid hinge...Anyone know how to restore? The alum with the fine lines looks difficult. HELP!

If you solve the methods to reproduce the alum trim...I could use a set..I'm sure I'm not aloneI'm not sure how they made the trim with the fine lines in it but I'm going to try to make it myself this winter (my summer)
Looks like a set of rollers with machined lines in it would work.
Both sides have the lines and they look offset so I think it was rolled rather than stamped.
The rolled sheet would be long enough to produce all 3 pieces at once.
Not sure of the aluminum thickness but after it is made it has to be anodised like the original.
The front and back pieces are easy as they are just cutouts.
The door will have to be folded around its frame.
They are very hard to find in good condition ,usually the inside plastic area is broken(hinge mounting area)
