I work at a Case IH dealership and about a year ago, one of the mechanics told me about an "early 60's dodge" he saw once while working on a tractor in the field.

Some of the farmers around here are car guys and know I have a 64 polara and told me about a 63 or 64 polara sitting. Finally I decided to track it down and just see what it was... And i found,

1963 330. It is complete minus motor. Has what appears to be the original plates, as well as all original hub caps. Still has the exhaust manifolds bolted to the exhaust, tranny, torque converter, power steering pump, and even the alt hooked up... just took the block.

Talked to the owner, turns out its his uncles car, and he purchased it for the motor for another 63 he had. Was a wide block car, (at least thats what manifolds are in it) All glass is good, windows work, interior is even in fair shape, other then the color and few small tears. (would want to be redone anyways) all wiring looks to be intact, grille and bumpers are in GREAT shape. If i had the cash, it would be on a trailer.. He is asking $2500 and I think its worth every penny.

The worst damage is on the passenger side behind the door as you can see in the photos. Didnt pop the truck, but looked underneath and frame rails and what i could see of the lower quarters and trunk looked solid.

Nice find! You gonna buy?

He has asked me to trade a flat bed i have for it, but flat bed is worth more then the car.. don't have the cash to buy,and cant take that big of a hit on the flat bed. Gonna have to pass for now, if no one snags it up i might eventually. Not to many people know where it is, and he isn't advertising it.

Wants to make sure it goes to someone who will fix it, not trash it or strip it, and it is well worth being fixed.

work out a deal with him for the flatbed ..see what cash you can get with the trade for flat bed .....you can away find a flatbed when you get cash together........MAX 005.JPG you won't always find a nice 63

The wheels are turning. How can I get that back across the mountains and in my garage without my wife finding out?:eusa_think:

Looks like a lot of good stuff there. Value depends a lot on the condition of the cowl, floors, and trunk. Check 'em out real good. Might be a fair deal.

A 63 2DR Post?! Wow! If you don't get it, you will talk about the "the one that got away" for the rest of your life!

what town

What town is it by???????????

It is about 40 min outside of spokane. I do not have the guys #, but if someone is really interested in it and somewhat local, I can go and talk to him and get him your information....(pm me)... But he is a farmer and a busy time of year, so be patient...

I am not in a position to buy at this time

Nice find! I bought a 1963 330 sedan a few months ago and Im having a great time with it! Looks like a pretty solid car you found

That's a cool car. I wonder how much it would be to transport it cross country? Or to keep it in storage out there until I was ready for it?

looks very nice shouldn't have a hard time selling her

yes the car is still there. I have gone out twice and he has not been home. Work is slowing down and i should be seeing him coming into the store sometime soon hopefully. As soon as i see him i will get contact info..

I have not forgot about the car, nor the few members here that are interested
