SOLD 1963 426 Max Wedge engine and “007” 727 trans

Rare opportunity, 426 Max Wedge engine out of a 63 Plymouth, and its pushbutton 727 trans, Engine is apart, Block is standard bore, correct heads, rockers, Pulleys, water pump, distributor, oil pan and pick up, etc. every bolt is there, cam lifters, pistons, rods, crank... Complete engine minus intake/carbs and exhaust manifold. Trans is also complete, has original Max Wedge converter with large converter bolts, flex plate, and even the trans cooler lines. $6000 takes it all.
Car in pics is the car it came out of back in the 60s. Can get more and detailed pics for a serious buyer.

I don't have a local shop, the time, or the funds to have them magged, You already said you weren't interested in a cash deal, So I'm unsure why you are harassing my post... I've clearly stated what has been repaired, and what is needed, and at this point, Ive seen the trans alone sell for close to what Id take for all of it... Its obviously just not for you, get over it.

I dont think it's allowable to bash a seller in this fashion in a "FOR SALE" Ad. You should start a new thread in the general discussion for this!

I've welcomed him to come see the parts in person as he lives close by, As for his false allegations, Yes, I own these parts, they're in my garage, They are far from "Junk" As mentioned above, Its a standard bore block, that will either need to be bored, or will need 2 sleeves due to rust, Heads have been cleaned, one has a repair to the coolant passage, all work was done professionally, I bought this engine from a big name shop here in So Cal, probably one of the most known and reputable. The owner (id guess in his 60's) said he bought this engine when he was in his teens. As for the "Sky High" price, Ive seen the transmission alone sell for $4k, Ive seen heads and rockers (in worse shape) sell for $2k... I bought this engine for my 64 Plymouth (also listed in the car section) before I realized it already had a Max Wedge Block in it... Not that it really matters, Why I'm selling, but I took out a loan to buy my "dream car" a 71 Cuda, so the car and the engine need to go...
