1963 Front bumper filler panel

I watched a video on Utube about a '63 Dodge being pulled out of a barn after 45 years. The front bumper filler panel was obviously silver in color. My question is, from the factory, was the filler panel painted body color or were they painted some type of silver? Were some cars produced with aluminum filler panels?
If silver is correct, can anyone tell me the paint code?
Mine has been painted at least 3 times but when I put it back together, I'd like it to be correct.

The Factory paint was silver. Sorry, I don't think I have the paint code for it...

It's a low gloss, no real sheen to it.
