1963 Max Wedge Pistons 11:1 Standard bore

Any idea what a full set of these right run a guy or to offer? Found a set local that are just bare pistons with wrist pins. Stock mopar that look almost new. Cant think of pn off top of head but owner had book which showed them as the low compression 11:1 pistons. Still in a box shipped to him from DVORAK racing back in 80's

I have a set of TRW's w/ pins used for $75. I would think factory ones would be worth more.

Yes, it's a street wedge block but still at standard bore and bore is gorgeous.

A set sold for $400. on e-bay a few months ago. I have a set of NOS std 13.5cr pistons. Pretty heavy pieces!

You are lucky you found a set. They are basically TRW forgings, and yes, they are heavy compared to today's light weight parts but still effective. I don't think anyone supplies them as off the shelf items so you are stuck with the custom order pricing at $900.00 / set.

Not sure how thick the heads of those pistons are but I ball end milled 180 grams out of a set of L2355 6 pack pistons several years ao. That's 180 per piston! It was an 'experiment' that the guy wanted to try and it worked. He had the pistons and I had the Bridgeport lol. The car was 4000 lbs and ran low 11's using a 150 shot. I expected the pistons to be hammered but after 2 years of driving the snot out of it, they looked just fine at tear down.

I actually have two sets, one NOS std Chrysler stamped forgings and the other are .030 TRW replacements and yes, they are the same piston for sure (aside from overbore size).
