Nice looking car. If it runs and drives good, with a minimum of rust, I'd buy it for 3k

Looks like a good clean driver! The wheels have got to go though!JMO

do you think i would lose money on it?

All depends on how much you stick into it

If you can keep yourself from dumping a ton of money into it I think it sounds like a good deal for $3K so you should be able to get at least that out of it too.
What you don't want to do is to stick $40k into a 4 door and hope to get anything near that out of it - like I did ......

I saw your other post but now I see a pic of the car in this post. It really looks nice ! I would go for it for 3k if everything is good as you said. Course I am a little biased towards 63 Plymouth's but thats because they are such a cool looking Mopar. Go for it and good luck with it. Keep us posted on how it goes. Ron

Hey guys just letting you know i bought the car runs and drives great

disregard my post in your other thread...

she looks great!!! good price too!!! i would have bought it!!!!

congrats!

JMO, but 4 doors are cooler than they get credit for being. Enjoy

Are the hardtops the same structure as the sedans, or are they different besides the lack of a b-pillar? Might make a nice 2 door conversion...

I believe they are, I have seen a couple that have had that conversion. you do need a donor 2 door. I haven't done this conversion but ran across them on the internet

:blob1:...Great...it looked really nice from the photos...I remember that my boyfriend had a black 1963 Fury...push button transmission...bet he wished he had kept it instead of selling it in 1975 for $125.00...:iamwithstupid:...Marla

Nothing wrong with 4 door cars. They do everything that a 2 door can.

Our goal is to have the best. That '62 Is So Cool, it's sick!
the color, the stance, ....just has the right look.:headbang:

My Polara is actually the first 2 door Mopar I have ever owned. All 3 of my 57 DeSotos, 60 Rambler Wagon, 61 Dodge Phoenix, 63 Belvedere, 66 Newport, 72 Dart, and my 99 Ram 3500 were all 4 doors...I have a thing for 4 doors! They are great sleepers, usually way cheap to buy, and you can fit all of your friends in them without a big hassle. Great find by the way! 4 door hardtops are SOOOO cool especially with all of the windows down they just look a mile long. I really dig that green too. Well done! Post more pics!
