Hi guys.

Please look at these pictures and tell me if the car looks original.

It has a V8, stick on the floor with a Hurst shifter and a floor tach but no console.

It also looks to be a 2 door but there is no side view in these pictures.

Unfortunately there is no shot of the steering column to see if it was a column shift at one time.

Does it look right, this combination, especially the floor tach?

Also this car has trim in between the tail lights. Did 330s have that?

Car is not a 330. Maybe a 440 with a 330 glove box lid. I believe 330's should be a sedan not a hard top. Arm rest are wrong, and as you said the rear of the car is wrong. No chrome between lights, no strips on trunk lid. Looks like a car I saw in Albuq. N.M. back in 1991.

Not original in my eyes.1]carpet is cut pile not loop 2]pistol grip shifter 3]never seen a tach mounted like that ever 4]shifter location looks too close tothe centre of car 5 really doubt 4spd in 318 car and not familiar with that rear trim.I maybe wrong but,Idon't think so.

It is a Mexican car so the trim is not going to be like the US cars, but I have seen some tachs like that in some pictures on Google, but they were always in a console.

The guy actually says it is a 5 speed in the car which I highly doubt.

Didn't the 440 have 3 lights in the back?

It is a mystery. They are fun to solve.

It looks like a fun car to drive though.

From what I've read, the US and Mexico models for this year should be the same. The tail trim I'd like to see a better picture of. Very unusual looking. Car has 330/440 style tailights (4). Reverse lights should be left and right of the liscense plate. It has the two long trunk lid trim pieces that were on 500 models, but not the center hood one. It's a two door hardtop, 440/500 body style. Has a padded dash, like a 440/500. The side trim is either 330/440, doesn't have the wide center trim of a 500. That shifter is a 1970 (first year) b-body style. The floor hump is all wrong, carpet, and that tach is wrong too. It looks like it is heater delete also. ALL the 1964 B-bodies have the Anniversary horn ring for the 50th year of Dodge Brothers.
To me, looks like a 1964 440 two door hardtop.

The Mexican cars are weird birds. I have a 1963 Savoy, vin 213, but it has Fury side trim on it and some other Fury items.

The Mexican cars were put together with whatever parts they had and only one model was available to everybody.

What do you mean the floor hump is all wrong?

A 63 car could be a weird bird, they did use mixed trim that year. But from what I've read, 64-5 cars were the same. 66 started mixing trim and panels again. It looks to have a modified partial console, the orig ones didn't go that high up under dash, and never wrapped in carpet. And a regular floor hump with no console doesn't go that far forward.

There you go. That is what they look like. If you wanted a tach, it was in a console. The one in your pic looks nothing like that. It looks as if you can hardly see it from drivers position.

Whoa, what's with that speedometer! Kilometers?
(Pic #7 of the horn button)

Thats a rare car. Some things have been added but some, I bet are correct.

Yes it is a Mexican car and they all have Kilometers.

I might just go get it.

Where am I going to find another one?

maybe Mexico or Brazil ! They got some real cool stuff there too

I am here in Mexico where this car is as well.

By the way almost all of the Chrysler products sold here during that time has the slant 6 so it is odd to see a V8 car that was originally sold here.

Brazil is too far to go.

That speedometer is pretty cool. If you could find one, I wonder if it could be calibrated to miles per hour?

I would love to get hold of one of those speedos. I have a 330 in Australia and would love to change it to Kilometres(which we use).

I will see if I can find one here in Mexico for you.

I will let you know.

Can not say , if it is stock or not, if it was assembled in Mexico, because, like many American cars assembled in foreign countries back in the day, they used (what was available,at the time)which maybe,if it fits, use it!!!,,If you don't have the right part in stock,,make do. I think it is a real cool car,,but I like different! Hope you get it.
