Just found this forum and I need help. I have a 1964 Dodge Pro Street that I have been working on for several years. It has an original 1968 Hemi with 8-71 BDS blower. I drove it tonite for the firstbtime in 2-1/2 years. Everything went well until the shorty hood blew off and went under the car. It is destroyed. The hood came back to the blower pulley. It was held on by Moroso clips. I forgot to latch them. Yes the car was painted and just buffed out. Anyway, I need a source for a replacement as the company that built this one is kaput. I also need the trim piece for the leading edge. It is an OEM and I had it restored. This is sickening but I guess it could be worse. I bought the car in 2004 and had it for two weeks and it burned in an enclosed trailer fire. Not a total but enough to keep me busy for 6 years. Any help would be appreciated.

Aarfiberglass, sled city, Kramer, joe suchy, or eBay for a factory metal hood.

I have a spare factory hood but I don't think I have the front trim piece. Not the best thing to ship either. PM if interested.

Please check to see if you have trim. Can be shipped in a piece of pvc pipe with caps on each end.

Vacations in the shop are the best kind. Still looking for the hood lip trim. My hood section might not be a total loss. Once I got over the shock of it blowing off and getting dragged under the car I have started repairs.

I called Bill and he has one! $250 but thats what I get for being a dummy and leaving the hood unpinned. Thanks. Come to find out Bill did all the restoration to the anodized trim on my car.
