64 Polara 500 for sale, owned car for over 20 yrs. Retired, relocating south soon. Must sell. Asking best offer around 35K
Car is painted Porsche Guards Red, black Legendary interior, automatic trans with shift kit, with Pro-Matic 2 Floor shift. Stainless Trim in excellent condition, Two new bumbers, new Headliner, old school Sun Tach,
Functional Max Wedge Hood Scoop, Super Stock Springs, Mopar battery.
Engine: original 318, now is a 1970,440 Hp lower end, bored .30 over, professional engine rebuild, (https://www.jensensenginetech.com/) Crane mild hydraulic cam, balanced and blue printed. Set up for driving, not racing, idles at 950 rpm, street converter. Electronic Ignition.
Engine top end is all Max Wedge, Manifold, Headers, 2 AFB carbs, Fuel lines, filters, linkage is correct, and Air Cleaners. Exhaust is TTI Max Wedge w/factory style cut out caps. Only 500 miles since rebuild.
The Bad: Some of the dash gauges are not working, emergency brake must be installed (have all the parts), they go with the car
Have the service manual, and 64 dealer parts book. There is a complete new front disc brake set-up in the trunk still in the boxes that goes w/car. Clean title in my name. Vehicle is in Pa. Near Wilkes Barre,
Have not used car last year, Getting old, (owned car 20 yrs) need to down size, will be going south in the near future. Never raced, used the car for car shows (many trophies) and local driving. With a little TLC this could be a 50K Car..
