New to forum, I just acquired a 1964 Dodge Polara 500. I have been wanting a classic Mopar for years, but did not have a place to store one. I finally got a garage and had to have an old Mopar. I saw this car advertised on Facebook Marketplace went to have look and I like what I saw. This car is more of a survivor than a restored car. From what I have been able to find out is was an Arizona car, but then got transplanted to New York and eventually to North Carolina. I was told the car had a respray in 1995 and the interior redone a few years ago. It has the old Poly 318 and a 727 torqueflite transmission. While you are not likely to win any races with this setup they are know for reliability and dependability. I think if will make me a great cruiser for car shows and Sunday evening rides.

What to you guys think?

Welcome from Missouri!! Very nice!!

Welcome from Western NY ! You've got a Great Car to break in with, and the mid-60 B-Bodies are my Favorites ! If you need any assistance, or questions about your car, look up Creations By Gemza, over in Denver, NC. They're Mopar Specialists, not too far from you...

Nice Polara, love that interior

welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Very nice car, I wouldn’t touch a thing on it! Going fast is cool, but going slow in classic is cool too!

“No son, why don’t we walk down and f***’em all.”

Welcome to the forum you got great taste.

Greetings from central Illinois and fellow 64 owner. Great looking car. Enjoy it as is...if you get the itch to soup up, plenty of poly go fast stuff nowadays.

Welcome Mr B Great looking '64

Original condition is getting more rare all the time. As the years go by it seems like people are doing more engine transplants and they are not always what was original. I'd love to own the one that you have just the way it is. '64 Polara 500 was the first Mopar I owned when I was 18 yrs old. Wish I still had that one!

Very nice 64! Excellent choice to get your feet wet in the Mopar pool!
Welcome from Washington
