1964 Race Hemi and more

Nice catch....yeah that engine looks pretty rare.Anyone care to suggest what he's looking for with the reserve?
Also I see the block casting no.is the -2 .Wonder why it wasn't the -1 (1st casting plug)??

I always wondered why the difference in the valve cover flanges between the early K heads & later 66 & up heads. Anyone know?

I think it was for the dipstik on the one side but both covers were patterned the same.

Race head also had no provision for power steering pump mounting.

Them aluminum fenders most likely have very high reserve I bet. I bet its over 3k or more as they are ver very rare. Ron

There was an aluminium front end for a 63 Dodge that was up for grabs at 22k on ebag a couple of months ago!

I think the guy with the fenders was looking for $5,000 per fender don't know about the other parts! But they won't go cheap if at all!

The K heads have an arc in the upper corner that the later heads do not. If that makes sense. I'll try to find a pic.
