1964 Sport Fury chrome interior molding installation.

Guy's I need help installing headliner interior molding brackets. I took this car apart over 10 years ago and I can't remember how and where the mounting brackets go to mount the chrome trim. Also where can I have the front bumper rechromed in S.E. Michigan. I'm almost ready to insure and get plates and try this thing out !

I had a similar problem as a friend took mine apart and I had a horrible time putting back together. There are a number of clips that have two flat feet that are bent at 90 degrees (each foot 1/2" wide with a screw hole that attaches it to roof)then it steps up 1/2" and the top part is 1" wide with a slotted screw hole in it. The attaching screws in the chrome moulding screw into the slotted screw hole in this bracket. Good luck. I still have all my brackets as I did not know where they went and just used longer screws to attach my moulding and they can bend using the method I used.

Thanks. I make a clip out of an old Ford fender mounding. Works and looks ok
