https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/fca-historical-services.148681/ This thread covers it.TChrysler historical or what ever Chrysler/Fiat calls it today can supply you with all the information on your car from that number...I have not done it in many years, there was a small cost involved, but they gave you a lots of info from that number.
That is correct. I’m sure that it can apply to other years but it definitely applies to 1964 B-bodies except station wagons and possibly convertibles. And by the question and your response, you are referring specifically to 1964 model year cars.....

Actually they started in 65 stamping the core support! In 64 that wasn't the practice yet. [I have a 64 Dodge Polara and a 70 Cuda.] The Cuda has VIN stampings in the radiator support and the cowl, but I have nothing like that on the 64. If my memory is correct, the factory didn't start putting the VIN in various areas of their cars until 1967.
My 64 was built in late November 63 and is a Lynch Road built car and it has the core support stamping.Actually they started in 65 stamping the core support!
