Hey folks...Switched out my bench seat to buckets from
a 78? Cordoba..not corinthian.. got universal tracs put on, now Im
trying to build the brackets. Does anyone have an idea how to
go about this?? Not too many videos out there.. HELP !!

There are factory floor reinforcements for the outboard seat mounting bolts. Cars that came from the factory with bucket seats also had floor reinforcements for the in-board mounting bolts. Make sure you do something there too. Like at least, a big thick round washer.

My Scat seat mounting was a universal type. Maybe a picture will help? The 2 holes are the bench seat mounting points.

Thnx 493 Mike. Im trying to get the right height too.
are your brackets welded in?? All I got was the rails to mount to
seats. Did you find the info somewhere for the height??

I mounted them as low as possible. The "L" shaped pieces came with the universal mounts kit and I cut them to length before welding them in. I did use a solid block of steel for the shortest corner to get as low as possible. I shimmed the square frame above the floor as level as I could to get the mounting "L" lengths. So, you do not have the seat adjusters?
