I have a buddy that is restoring a 72 Challenger, well they are putting it together and a few years ago he bought the wrong leaf springs. He has the mopar performance heavy duty springs for a 67-72 B-body. And I can buy them reasonable.

read this on an old post.

"62-'65 B-bodies have rear leaf springs with a front segment length of 21" from centering pin to front spring eye. '66-'70 B-body springs are 22" . Super Stock (basically A-body) springs are 20" for the same measurement. To put S/S springs on a '62-'65 B-body, you have to use the '66-'67 Plymouth S/S front hanger kit. The spring eye bolt hole is 1" closer to the hanger mounting surface than the Dodge piece. This is how Chrysler achieved 1" longer wheelbase in Dodge, versus Plymouth. It was all in that front spring hanger. You must be careful with springs and hangers with '62-'65 B-bodies to avoid getting the rear axle too far back. Putting '66-'67 rear springs on an earlier B-body"

I measured the springs and they do have the 22 inch front eye to centering pin. I plan on putting a fairly big tire on my 65, seems the extra inch would give you better front fender clearance. Has anybody done this? And I am assuming the shackles will work out?

I use the 67-70 street hemi 22" front segment springs on my 65 coronet. AR engineering makes a front bracket for those springs on a 65 coronet.

That bracket has 2 holes...

Top or bottom depending on the ride height you choose...

If you have the 22" front segment springs and want the rear moved back an inch you do not need the bracket...

AR Engineering has several bracket styles to chose from depending on what you end up doing... Spring Hangers | AR Engineering

Pic is of a Mancini bracket (probably AR Engineering) and the 21" front eye dimension SS springs...

Moving back an inch may not be an issue with the rear shackles depending on how long they are...

I have rear spring sliders on a few cars and when installing them it wouldn't matter...

What does get tight when moving the rear back is the shock to rearend housing clearance right at the center of the rearend tubes...
