I am wondering about the tube type upper arms with the caster built into them, do they help with higher speed road feel, and make it steer alittle harder? I don't really care for the power steering right now, just too much assist. I did an alignment on my car 8-9 yrs ago and I think the caster spec was .5 or something, I if i could get 2-2.5 degrees, would that help the high speed stability. Its great driving around the driveway, but on the highway can get alittle un-nerving, I did pick up a manual box, thinking about converting. any help would be great, thanks.

hi,i have rms tube type upper arms on my 65 bel.they have 6 degrees built into them.very easy to align and go smooth.manual box,car goes 7.78 @89 mph in the 1/8th,on street tires and mufflers, they were 299.00,mark

Thanks, I ordered a manual box awhile ago, going to put it in and see how it steers, then the upper arms. hopefully the extra caster with the manual box won't make it too hard to steer at slower speeds, my wife does drive it once in awhile. I want a firmer feel, and stabilty.
